Step 1: Logon to geocaching.com; find geocaches within walking distance of work.
Step 2: acquire satellites on GPS unit borrowed from work (also, be amazed if you happen to get a fix while inside a building. very lucky!)
Step 3: snag coworker (one of my fellow interns) and go hiking
Step 4: get distracted by cute little toad
Step 5: ooh, geocache!
Step 6: Admire stuff in geocache. Don't take any because you forgot to bring something to leave behind
Step 7: keep hiking, since you have two geocaches to find
Step 8: ooh, another geocache!
Step 9: record our presence in logbook
Step 10: enjoy prairie scenery on way back to work
Seriously, I love my job. Where else can you get paid for treasure hunting?
