* John Stewart = hilarious. May they bring him back again! Some people thought he was too snarky, but I think it's the way for the Academy to get in touch with America's disenfranchised youth and build their base again.
* Why is "Good Night, and Good Luck" such a good movie? I don't understand it. I really did not like the movie; in fact, I almost said "I want my life back" after seeing it. The guy I went with thought it was good, but it could have been much better. Maybe I'm being too rough, but I don't think so.
* I now want to see "Crash" and see what all the fuss is about. I also want to see "The Constant Gardener."
* Yay for Reese Witherspoon. I'm so happy for her. And I liked Phillip Seymour Hoffman's win, even though I also would have happily congratulated Joaquin Pheonix or Heath Ledger (or even Jake Gylenhaal).
* Happy that "Memoirs of a Geisha" got a lot of technical awards. It was a beautiful movie.
