2005 is over and done, and I'll keep it that way, thanks. I graduated, had a fun (most of the time) summer job, and loved being on my own. I also stressed about grad school apps, didn't work out as much as I intended, and had a sham of an honors thesis (hey, all in the name of learning!).
I'm looking forward to more of the good stuff in 2006. I love my parents, but I am excited to move out (and hopefully to someplace more permanent than the many living quarters I've inhabited in the last 4.5 years). I'm looking forward to my continued task of getting in better shape by working out, enjoying life, and paying more attention to what I'm eating. I cannot wait to be geeky and nerdy and frog happy in academia.
The possibilities of this year both thrill and excite me, but there's some apprehension too.
At least the first shoes I put on in this new year were my sexy red ones. I'm aiming to start the year off on the right foot.
