A lot happens when you're gone for 20 days without any access to news or the internet.
For example, the ipod shuffle. Hello? I'm a little blindsided. That's so cool! Perhaps I'll get one for workouts and such after I graduate, although there are other cool toys that I want more (read: Nikon D70, a slide scanner, etc).
Also, I picked up a newspaper in Costa Rica. One of the first things I read? Bush is threatening military action against Iran. Great.
Anyway, I'm just amazed at all the news I missed. I guess I should have seen it coming. Man . . . ipod shuffle. I've got to check that out at a mac store soon. It looks really cute. I've been so busy catching up on news that I haven't started my paper yet. Gotta get going on that.
oh, and I should catch people up on my life: I didn't study the traffic dynamics of ants. I did study leaf-cutter ants, however, I studied minutia, which are little hitchiker ants that ride on the leaves (see little ant on the first picture).
