Almost forgot to mention but . . .

there was an earthquake while I was in Costa Rica. It was really small scale (3.5 or something), so we must have been close to the epicenter because it felt big. It occurred in the middle of the night during a rainstorm. We were all jolted in our rickety bunks by a huge boom, and I was worried that we were in the middle of a windstorm. Apparently, there was more than one wave, but I only felt the last, and biggest, one. My professor was worried about a tsunami, but we had no difficulties from the waves. cheers.
